Part 1 : Research Questions

1.  Explain in a paragraph why it is important to conserve energy.  Be sure to include facts from your research.

2.  What household items use the most energy?  (List at least 5.)  For each item, think about how it works and explain why it might use a lot of energy.

 3.      For each of the items listed in question 2, list 3 ways you could cut back on their energy use in your home.

4.      Inventory your home (ask your parents if you are not sure) and list below all the major appliances which use gas instead of electricity. 

   5.      Think about last year around the time of this project.  Write a paragraph explaining what you think used most of the electricity in your home during that time period and why.

6.      List your sources using proper bibliographic form.
